Remembering your on a diet

Why is it so hard to remember that you are dieting. More than a few times I had to remind myself that I was dieting. Sometimes it was to late because I have already eaten the wrong thing. I went to dinner last night and ordered a big steak dinner and was half way through before I said "hey wait, I should not be eating this". Dieting is tough.

Starting Out

Starting out on a new diet is like starting a new adventure. You feel excited, motivated and a great rush of adrenaline. Your finally going to do it. Well, let's see how it goes.

Day One:
Breakfast- Oatmeal, with 1/2 c of whole milk, 1 med. cup of coffee
Breakfast was okay today. I did add a little too much sugar to my coffee and oatmeal, but it all still added up to only 465 calories, which is what I was going for. I reall struggle with eating Breakfast in the morning, I just never do it.

Lunch/Dinner- I won't talk about lunch or dinner because I know it was bad.
But I won't can't this day as a bust because I did get a breakfast in. Which was one of my many challenges.

Beginning thoughts of weight loss.

If you are anything like me the thought of losing weight have ran through your mind thousands of times. You have probably told yourself that you will start tomorrow, or in the summer, or in the winter, or with the new year, or after the holidays, or next monday or next tuesday, the list can go on and on. But the truth is you have never started, or you have and the it disn't last past a week or maybe two. Why is it so hard to lose weight?
